RESPONSIBILITIES: Provides clinical pharmacy support and provides guidance for clinical pharmacy services. Provides clinical pharmacy activities, and incorporates these functions within the framework of our drug dispensing distribution/administration systems. This will include designing drug monitoring programs and participating in various drug use protocols. Major emphasis will be place on proper utilization of drugs.
EDUCATION: Graduate of a college of Pharmacy or of a foreign college of pharmacy and currently licensed by the Texas State Board of Pharmacy to practice in Texas. Advance Clinical Pharmacy degree, PharmD., or equivalent required.
QUALIFICAITONS: Experience and proven competency in a clinical environment is necessary. It is also desirable to have a strong background in hospital pharmacy.
