The primary function of the Team Manager directly responsible for supervising the day to day activities of a clinical team. Assures care and services provided by the team are in compliance with state and federal regulatory requirements of accrediting bodies. Assures care is provided to each patient in a safe, cost effective manner that meets applicable standards of practice. Serves as the clinical resource provider to the team.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Graduate of an accredited Diploma, Associate Degree or Baccalaureate School Nursing.
LICENSURE: Must have current licensure by the Georgia State Board ofNursing. Must have current and valid CPR certification.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Three years in home health setting; two years in supervision/management with P&L responsibility. Requires proven interpersonal, supervisory, and management skills with the ability to communicate effectively. Requires previous Oasis experience.
JOB KNOWLEDGE: Knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid and other funding source regulations as applied to home health care services. Demonstrates knowledge and competence in advanced practice clinical skills, including the nursing process and utilization management.
COMPUTER SKILLS: Must be familiar with general use and functions of the computer, such as, user names and password concepts; internet; e-mail; navigation of computer desktop or laptop, including starting programs, using files, and windows, effectively use navigation buttons and tool bars; ability to self-manage online HR services and online training programs.
TRANSPORTATION: Must have reliable transportation.
