Job Description: Responsible for the coordination and management of patient caseload of patients with psychiatric diagnosis. Performs the primary function of the nursing process - assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care of all assigned patients. Collaborates with physicians and members of the patient care team. Provides physical and psychological support to patients, friends, and families. Provides in-home supervision of paraprofessional field staff members and licensed practical nurses.
Experience: In order to acquire and effectively utilize knowledge of medical/surgical nursing in the field, at least one (1) year experience in medical/surgical nursing is required with one (1) additional year on-the-job experience in home health care preferred. Knowledgeable of nursing assessment and evaluation skills. Computer literacy is essential.
Education: Current Pennsylvania state RN license. Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Diploma or Associates degree required. Current Cardiopulminary Resussitation (CPR) certification and valid Pennsylvania state drivers license are required. I.V, certification and Phlebotomy training.
Other: Up to a $4,000.00 Retention Bonus. This position is for Full-Time Day.
