Provides reception services including interaction with students, families, staff and faculty both in person and on the phone.
Responds to questions and/or refers to appropriate contacts.
Greets patients,answers telephones, scheduling using clinic medical software (Medicat, LLC.).
Familiar with insurance and immunization requirements of the University. Gathering and receiving data from several sources. Compares information to verify accuracy.
Maintains clinic provider schedule and performs clerical duties as needed.
Provide support to clinic manager and medical assistant as needed.
High School diploma or equivalent (GED) and two or more years administrative office support experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above.
The candidate must be able to successfully complete an online computer skills assessment administered by the Office of Human Resources. Software included in the assessment: MS Word, MS Excel, MS Windows, MS Outlook and Internet Explorer.

AA degree preferred or equivalent experience with three (3) or more years of administrative support experience.
The ideal candidate will possess word-processing, data entry, report generation, and spreadsheets skills as well as keen attention to accuracy and detail.
Excellent interpersonal skills are needed and the ability to successfully interact with diverse individuals and groups, including maintaining composure during stressful situations.
Must be able to prioritize activities and accomplish multiple tasks
in a fast paced work environment.
