POSITION SUMMARY: The primary purpose of this position is to assist the Health Information Manager in maintenance of the health information records.
KEY JOB FUNCTION:
- Accurately and timely assembles resident records into respective electronic and paper files.
- Closes, files, stores, and destroys records per regulations and Covenant Care's policies.
- Follows Covenant Care's auditing guidelines and accurately completes audit support, as assigned.
- Provides required documentation needed for triple-check and accurately completes work, as assigned.
- Maintains knowledge of, and complies with current HIPAA , Privacy and Security Laws; access and release of information practices.
