The Arc of Anchorage is seeking several Direct Support Professionals to work in our assisted living homes.  Responsibilities include personal hygiene, community activities, meal preparation and general housekeeping.  The qualified applicant must be able to run a household while encouraging the resident’s participation to the best of their abilities. 

 

Hours :  Vary depending on location and the needs of the residents.

 

Must be at least 18 years old, High School diploma / GED required, valid driver’s license, proof of auto insurance. Prefer experience in social services and/or direct care in areas related to complex medical conditions and/or developmental disabilities, emotional disabilities.  Current TB test and Background clearance required. CPR & First Aid certifications.
