Description: Day to day responsibility for ensuring the house is clean and sanitary, properly clean and sanitize patient roms and common areas, bathrooms, offices, and all other spaces as assigned. Duties: Follow written job flow on daily basis to ensure cleanliness and sanitation of all parts of the building. Remove trash Ability to constantly lift, pull, carry and/or push objects weighing up to 55 pounds. Ability to stand, kneel, walk, climb, crouch or bend for long periods of time. Sweep, mop, strip, dust and refinish floors. Carpet cleaning to include vacuuming, shampooing, and extraction. All other duties as assigned by EVS manager. Four ten hour shifts REQUIRED: 8am- 7pm with a total of 1 hour for lunch during shift. After initial training, days scheduled will be on a rotating basis. Schedule is posted weeks in advance. Rotating weekends required or every weekend may required based on coverage need. Qualifications: Prior related experience in hospital, hospice house, or nursing home required. Must possess technical proficiencies in housekeeping functions. Working knowledge of housekeeping industry standards and regulations. Must be able to read, write and speak the English language conversationally. Ability to work with detergents and other cleaning chemicals used for custodial work without adverse reactions. Job Type:
