| Duties: | Responsible for the operation of the warehouse including cleaning/disinfecting, maintenance, testing, service of medical equipment, inventory of supplies, and shipping. The Warehouse Technician shall be available to perform the DME technician driver position when necessary ONLY if he/she has a class E Florida driver’s license. Shift requirements: 4 x 6 hour shifts. Must be flexible with availability. No weekends required. |
| Qualifications: | High school level reading and math skills. Eighteen years of age or older. Experience with the operation and repair of durable medical equipment preferred. Current Florida class E driver's license with a clear driving record, no points or accidents and automobile insurance. (minimum 10/20/10 required). Driver's record is thoroughly checked. Knowledge of service area preferred and ability to read a map and follow directions. Ability to work unsupervised in field exercising discretion and independent judgment. Ability to physically access any home, nursing home, ALF, and hospital in the service area, i.e., navigate stairs, narrow spaces, lack of air conditioning and/or heat while lifting or transporting heavy equipment (such as a hospital bed). Ability to remain calm and troubleshoot/handle equipment service issues independently. |
