Lubbock Hospice agency seeks outgoing individual with strong community network and great organization skills to serve as Volunteer Coordinator/Admin Assistant
Hospice care is based on healthcare services provided for terminally ill patients in their homes. Hospice care also utilizes volunteers who help the patient and patient’s family during this difficult period
The Volunteer Coordinator portion of this job requires working to establish, train, and manage a network of volunteers. A successful Volunteer Coordinator must be able to develop relationships with local community leaders who are able to connect the agency with individuals looking for volunteer opportunities.
The office assistant portion of this job requires the successful candidate to assist the Hospice Director with office functions including medical record maintenance, making hospice packets, dealing referrals/transfers, and other administrative duties.
8am-5pm M-F (no holidays or weekends)
