Provide quality daily care (personal hygiene, housekeeping, meal preparation, and other related tasks) to ensure the health and safety of consumers in the residence and community. Demonstrate empathy, patience, and compassion in conduct toward consumers. Assist consumers in meeting their individual goals and objectives as defined in their Individual Habilitation Plan. Use direct and indirect verbal cues, gestures, modeling, and prompting to communicate with and instruct consumers. Keep accurate and timely records.

Requirements: High School Diploma or GED, DDD relevant experience and/or personal knowledge of developmental disabilities, and valid NJ driver’s license. Preferred: Certificates in Pre-Service training, Danielle’s Law and Positive Behavioral Supports.
