Currently, our Home Care Department has an excellent opportunity available for a Patient Service Manager – Quality Management/Education.
In this position, you will serve as a quality improvement and educational resource for our staff. Responsibilities include developing and implementing quality improvement activities, including staff education to maintain high quality care; monitoring occurrences, complaint and concern reporting and coordinating the response as it relates to customer service. You will be key in overseeing and participating in the review and audits of clinical documentation and processes improvement initiatives. In addition, you will participate in all audits for legal, regulatory and compliance requests and assist in the response and corrective actions plan as needed for internal and external audits (Joint Commission and DOH).
To qualify you must have a BSN (Master’s degree in Nursing or Nursing Education is preferred); 2 years’ experience as a community health nurse for a certified home health agency or long-term home healthcare program; and 1 year of patient service management experience (ideally in quality management/education). An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered. Current NYS RN licensure is also required. Preferred applicants will have 1 year of supervisory experience.
