Driver/Job Coach

The Driver/Job Coach is responsible for the pick up, and delivery of goods and provides ongoing supervision and support to consumers in developing and maintaining appropriate work skills both on and off the jobsite.  The qualified candidate must possess thorough knowledge of the Anchorage/Mat-Su area road systems.  Prefer minimum 5 years driving experience or some driving experience with a delivery van and 3 years experience working with persons who experience developmental disabilities. Strong oral & written communication skills and ability to interact effectively with other staff & the public are a must. Ability to operate a cube van.

 

Must be at least 21 years old. High School diploma/GED required and Bachelor’s degree in human services or related field preferred. Background check, TB test required.  Must have a valid driver’s license, a medical card and a clean driving record.  Must complete Arc driver’s training.  An Arc application must be submitted to be considered for any position.  Excellent benefits package for full-time employment. DOE.
